What is a VAVY Muse? This name evokes the idea of inspiration and creativity, highlighting how each woman in our VAVY Society inspires and motivates others. It also connects to the idea of being a source of strength and guidance within the community, making every member a muse who contributes to the collective empowerment and growth.
Supporting and connecting with women has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth. VAVY Society is an excellent example of a community where I've found like-minded women who share my goals. Through my involvement, I've gained confidence, built lasting connections, and formed close friendships.
When I was starting my career and navigating a new industry, women's networking events provided a safe and supportive space where I could build my confidence and expand my professional circle. Even after joining a corporate job, I continued to actively participate in internal women's groups to learn from other women and navigate a male-dominated industry.
I've found that effective networking requires an open mind, a well-prepared elevator speech, and a willingness to share about yourself. Be open to discussing your experiences, goals, and aspirations. Sharing your story can help you connect with others on a deeper level and build stronger relationships.
As a new mom balancing a demanding corporate job, I've realized the importance of being intentional with my networking.
